No Mo Jo privacy policy
Short version: we (Tech and That) don't collect any personal information, and your progress stays on your phone. The game shows small adverts on its menus, served by Google, which may use your device's advertising ID depending on the choices you make. Buying the developer a pint in the tip jar switches the adverts off for good.
Who we are
No Mo Jo is made by Tech and That Ltd, a company registered in England (company number 16754793), registered office 61 Bridge Street, Kington, HR5 3DJ. We're registered with the Information Commissioner's Office, reference ZC140003.
What the game stores
Your progress (levels, worlds cleared, scores, hats and settings) is saved on your device only, in the app's own storage. We can't see it. Uninstalling the game deletes it.
What the game doesn't do
- No account with us of any kind.
- No analytics, tracking or crash reporting services of our own.
- No access to your contacts, photos, location, camera or microphone.
Adverts
No Mo Jo shows a small banner advert on its menu screens (never while you're playing), and offers an optional advert you can choose to watch to carry on after being knocked out. Adverts are provided by Google AdMob. To show and measure adverts, Google may collect and use information such as your device's advertising ID, IP address, approximate location and how you interact with adverts. Google's advertising policies explain how.
If you're in the UK, the European Economic Area or Switzerland, the game asks for your consent before personalised adverts are shown, using Google's consent form. You can change your choice at any time from Settings > Ad privacy choices. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone's settings.
Buying the "pint of beer" in the tip jar removes the adverts permanently, including on a new phone signed in to the same Google account.
Google Play Games
If you choose to sign in to Google Play Games, your scores and achievements are sent to Google so they can appear on leaderboards and in your Play Games profile. Google's privacy policy covers this. We only see leaderboard scores, in the same way other players do.
"Feed the developer" tips
The optional tip jar uses Google Play's in-app purchases. Google handles the payment and your payment details; we never see them. Google tells the game that a purchase went through so it can show your thank-you picture (and, for the pint, switch the adverts off). Nothing in the game is locked behind a payment.
Children
No Mo Jo isn't directed at children under 13.
Your rights and contact
Because we hold no personal information about you, there's nothing for us to access, correct or delete. For information Google holds, use your Google account settings. If you have a question about this policy, email privacy@techandthat.com. You can also contact the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If the game starts collecting anything new, this page will be updated first and the date above will change.
